A parked domain is one which is taken, however it's not connected to any other service - web or e-mail hosting. In other words, such a domain won't load any real content if you type it in an Internet browser, but nobody else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The advantage of acquiring a domain and parking it afterwards is the fact that you’re able to keep it and not worry that somebody else might register it meanwhile if, for instance, the website for it is not ready yet. You are able to create a temporary Under Construction page for a parked domain while you are working on the website, or direct it to another web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be employed if you have already registered domain.com, for instance, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so that you can protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domain names can be parked and directed to the .com since you don't need separate websites for them.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

With each and every website hosting package which we offer you will be able to park as many domain addresses as you would like and in contrast to other companies, we don't have any service fees for that. Of course, this can be done just for domain names which are registered through us because parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, but not through the host unless you have both services with the same company. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can quickly park and un-park domains, select one of the templates that we provide and add custom text to it, or direct a domain address to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain address, our system will change its name servers and create a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domain names, which will permit you to manage them fast and easy.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

When you get a semi-dedicated server plan from us, you are going to be able to register and park as many domain names as you want. As opposed to other companies, we won't charge you an additional fee for this feature. You'll be able to park a domain with only a couple of clicks through the Domain Manager instrument, which you can access via the Hepsia hosting CP. If you want to use a template, you are going to have a few different ones available and you'll be able to add custom text to any of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters and see only the hosted or only the parked domain names in your account. With the same instrument, you can also un-park a domain and host it within your account with just a click. Our system will modify the name servers of the domain name and will create its folder inside the File Manager section, and the required DNS records for it, automatically.
